Return to MVBC Boys Travel Team 2017-18

The MVBC Travel teams are designed for Boys & Girls in grades 4-6 who reside in the Mountain View School District. This means  Mountain View School District students as well as Home School, Cyber School, Private School, and Charter School students are eligible. The teams participate in the Endless Mountains Basketball League which is comprised of most of the schools in Susquehanna and Wyoming  Counties.

The teams are divided into 2 teams a JUNIOR team comprised of 4th and 5th graders, and a SENIOR team comprised of players in grades 6 and below. Due to league rules 6th graders are not eligible for Junior Division games unless needed to allow for the games to be played.

The teams will practice and play their home games at the Mountain View Elementary School. Occasionally the High School, Rock Mountain Bible Camp gym, and the Clifford Community Center will be utilized. Most practices are held 7-8:30, but we also utilize after school and 5:15/5:30 practice times as much as possible.

There is an initial $20 Registration Fee ($5 Discount for 2 or more children) in which players receive the following:

  • Attendance at Mountain Boys Varsity Coach Joe Gibbons 3-day "Tip Off Camp"
  • A reversibleMVBCpractice jersey. If you have a practice jersey in good condition you will receive a MVBC T-shirt.

Upon selection or placement on the team, players will incur an additional fee of $20. Families will receive a a $5 discount for second child, and three or more children are free. For this players receive:
